Reflection
A monologue is a speech or talk done by only one person. It is for someone else to hear in the attempt to spark an emotion. Its sort of a call to action or something to create "revolution." This differs from a soliloquy which is a person speaking to themselves, intended for no ears but their own.
I chose the theme of violence for my monologue. I chose violence because of the level of human conflict in the modern world. Yes, there has been human conflict forever, but it's the most devastating now. There is a lot to talk about and I have a constantly changing opinion on the subject.
My monologue has a rise and then a resolution. I give my opinion, then give a resolve. I will admit, it's very biased.
I tried to be as productive as possible and strived to create a good final product. I revised my monologue many times, (both on paper and online) revised my proposal many times, and just wanted to convey my opinions in my products.
Yes, I think I was on task most of the time. As I previously stated, I revised my products multiple times. I revised until I was completely satisfied with my work.
I worked alone which was really nice. I was allowed to use my opinion and ideas. I spread my metaphorical wings and created something I'm satisfied with.
