Video #2
I'm very happy with how this video turned out. I thought it was natural and flowed well. We took the basics and expanded which I feel will be very beneficial. Building on the basics will help me better understand the structure of conversation. This is the third week of school yet I feel much more confident with Spanish speaking than 9th grade. The conversation touched on what I do for work, which is important to me. I'm in a business where communicating in Spanish makes the job a lot easier. My father and I buy pottery in Mexico, I'm not able to do the job without him. He translates everything. I'm excited to be able to do my job alone in the future.
I did not experience many struggles while preparing for this video, but this preparation was different than last time. This time I did a lot of research on SpanishDict. I tried to expand my vocabulary and tried to become more comfortable with conjugation. I tried to make my half of the conversation as natural as possible, so I practiced a lot with my father. He's been a huge supporter and is doing his best to teach my Spanish. I'm very fortunate to have someone to practice with at home.
I feel as if Taylor prepared just as much as I did. I could see that she was trying to make the conversation as natural as possible and has shown a big improvement. She did a lot of research on SpanishDict and made sure to use the correct conjugation and grammar.
In the next video I do not really care who I work with. I feel as if I should be adaptable and able to work with anyone.
Overall I think I did well, but could've definitely done better. I will keep working to improve and hope to see a noticeable difference at the end of the semester. I will continue to practice at home and do my best at school. I really want to review verb conjugation and learn more about sentence structure.
